How To Make Your Dog Happy

Updated: Jan 15

Having a dog melts your heart whenever you need it. Here are some of the easiest things you can do to return the favor

Cutest dogs

1.) Feed your dog properly

The most important thing is giving your dog healthy food. You should provide your dog with proper meals that include all the necessary nutrients and for that, you should first consult your vet as all dogs are different and what diet might be fine for your dog may be different for the other one. Plus there is nothing wrong to consult a veterinary doctor right? Not giving enough food can make your dog feeling sad or irritable. So feed them properly but also don't make him overweight!

2.) Go outside for a walk

Always try to move your dog by taking him for a walk every day also if possible make him run with you , or sprint to fetch a ball. By doing so your dog will stay physically healthy. He will also be able to explore new things sniff almost everything which is, by the way, their favorite job. Also, most of the time when dogs do not get there share of the walk they become quite unmanageable ,frustrated and stubborn.

3.) Pamper your dog with a bath / Water for dogs

Although we all have seen in the internet dog's literally hating getting a bath still some dogs crave for it so badly. So if your dog is one of them who likes playing with water. Pamper them by giving a nice bath (remember do not make him wet more that 3-4 times a week). This will refresh your dog and can also uplift his mood and energy level.

4.) Allow them to sniff a little more

Dogs are really interested in sniffing almost everything. I know while walking your dog you may be really tempted to move forward rather than stopping after every few steps but things which might be boring for you can be really interesting for your dog, try to think from their point of view

5.) Give him new toys

New toys will excite your dog and will also save your shoes and slippers from getting chewed by your dog ;)

6.) Hydrate your dog

Like humans dogs also need to hydrate themselves. Sometimes your dog may be feeling thirsty but you may not be able to figure that because he barks almost in a similar way for all things he wants out so it is important to always provide them with enough water bowls or a bucket.

7.) Play with your dog / Dog Games

By playing with your dog on a daily basis you can decrease the chances of them developing bad habits such as excessive barking or chewing. And it will also cheer up your dog. You can play many games with your dog outdoor or even indoor as well. Games such as tug of war, even hide and seek, running after play with Frisbee or enjoying some water games are fun to play with.
