Ashwagandha is a kind of medicine, which is considered effective in many incurable diseases and has been used worldwide due to its large number of benefits. You too must have heard about the many benefits of Ashwagandha. The scientific name of Ashwagandha is Vithania somnifera and is known as Winter Cherry and Indian Ginseng. It is commonly grown in India, North Africa, China and Nepal with plant size between 35 to 75 cm.

How to use Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is used as a rasayana. Rasayana is an herb that improves your mental and physical health and helps to keep you young.
Before using Ashwagandha, it is adviced that you consult your doctor for the adequate dosage to be taken
Generally we can consume 4-5 grams of ashwagandha in a day.
In capsule for you can take 1-2 capsules a day, try that in the evening.
Mix 2 grams Ashwagandha in boiled water. Let it boil for 15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes but do not take more than 2 cups in a day.
